Flying visit to Echo 3

GUEST BLOG by Del Roberts

I popped in on Echo 3 the other day to deliver some equipment they required.

Echo 3 are hard at work on digging the elephant-poof trench and will soon make a start on erecting the solar-powered fence.

They were all in good spirits and had completed building their campsite and they were very proud of their shower and long drop.

Polly Comms is heading out for a longer visit to Echo 3 next week, so will bring more news and pictures when she returns. If you want to get a message to anyone out on Echo 3 just add a comment to the blog and we'll take them out on The Loop.

Hey Kimmi, hope you are having a fabulous time! All the pictures on here look great! Missed you at graduation hun, was a lovely day but everyone took loads of photos to show you when you get back. Sean looked very dapper with his purple bow tie and my mum saw his mum again for the first time in years. (Had the whole 'oooh do you remember when you two were at school' haha)I hope you're not getting to tanned. Everyone over here is good. Jenny's PGCE is going well, Emma's doing work experience at a school. Shana and Alex are both working hard. We're all missing you loads but are so proud of you. The events management job is going really well, already selling tickets for the display which is great. Mummy and Daddy and Dan all send their love. Hope you're enjoying yourself and the nice heat, its really starting to get cold here now. Anyhoo, I love and miss you loads and can't wait to see your face again in January and hear all about your adventures!
    Love you

  5. Hi Jess at Echo 3

I've been struggling to get a blog to work. But how are you? Are those muscles bulging with all the digging? And we see that you now know how to skin and gut a chicken. So we won't have to go to the butcher anymore. We can just catch a pheasant off the roof and away you'll go? Have you seen any elephants? IAnd how are the photos? Lots of people say how much they like the ones they bought. Grandma fell over and is in hospital, but she's mostly OK and asks after you. I expect she'll come out this week. Arsenal beat Man City away. V satisfactory. All my love Dad xxx

    Hi James
Hope everything going well with the elephant trenches and you now have a six pack and bulging bicepts. Hope you are coping with the heat ok. Hope the chicken did not get away before you managed to cook it. Not much news back in Scotland, went back to school today after 2 weeks off, feels like never had a holiday. Weather was -2 last night so winter set in here allready, make the most of the sunshine.
    Miss you and love you.

  15. Kirsten Elliot Echo 3. I hope you are finding the adventure as interesting as you hoped. I believe you had a lively time with the chicken, well done to you, not many people would have the guts (pardon the pun) to do that. It is good to know that all your adventures are being written down and kept for you to look back at in the future. I hope that the group in general are getting on well together because that makes all the difference in having a good time. Take care and I'll BLOG again.
    Grandad. xx
