Just a quick note to say: The Venturers have arrived! The Raleigh India 09C cohort were collected right on time at Bangalore airport in the early hours of this morning and transported by bus to Fieldbase in Mysore.
They were met at base by our eight host country participants and the remainder of staff and are currently learning their way around their new home for the next four days.

Dear Raleigh 09C,
It's strange seeing another group's pictures up here! I just wanted you all to know that you are about to have the absolute time of your lives. I'm fearful of sounding like a Raleigh brochure, but I know we of 08I made lifelong friends, experienced a completely different culture in a really unique way, and we all pushed ourselves further than we thought possible. We had a little fun too. I'm sure you're group will be no different.
The not so Raleigh brochure part: it was the most insanely difficult thing I've ever done and the adventure phase is by no means fun and games. But I would not trade my experience for anything in the world, and I don't think you'll want to either.
So good luck, and don't miss a second, because it will go by really quickly. Happy trails!
