Hi dee Hi!
We're getting the hang of this video camera now and thought that while we're waiting on the stories from the project sites to come back to Field Base, we could take this time to introduce some of the Field Base team to our Blog followers so your can have a sneaky peak into the wonder that is Raleigh India Field Base.
Enjoy!
p.s a few of the team were off-site at the time of filming, please be assured that they are equally as interesting as those featured. However, the aesthetic integrity of this production was not compromised by their absence.
p.p.s Sorry about Kev's mumbling.

ReplyDeleteHi Kiki,
Reckon you must be more than half way through the trek so hope the legs are holding out. Have been looking at the photos from previous phases and trying to imagine where you might be and what wonderful sights you must be seeing. Can't wait to see all the photos when you get home. No letters from you yet but the anticipation of coming through the door and seeing one on the mat keeps me going!
Finally managed to get to Jazzercise last night and loved it so going again tomorrow evening and possibly even Sat morning. Got to get rid of some of this flesh before I go off to Malta! I'm kicking myself that I haven't been before - much more enjoyable than pedalling for hours in the gym.
Had to go for my booster innocs for Typhoid & Hep A today so now have a sore arm and feeling very tired :( Tomorrow both Dad and I are going to A Nan's funeral, leaving at 7 am to get right round the M25. So pleased Dad is coming with me as it's somewhere in deepest Essex and I can map read while Dad drives.
Have emailed your hotmail account so you'll have more to read once you get access to the internet.
Keep on trekking! Love, big hugs & kisses, Mxxxx
To all at field base

ReplyDeleteI have to say thank you very much for posting all off these blogs to keep us updates (: It looks very nice at the fieldbase, and I loved the changeover video. I apologise for leaving so many blog messages aha. The blog makes it a lot easier being away from Dunc as I can still see pictures of him and see what he's up too. Thank you, its brilliant!

Hi Dee Hi, y'all at Fieldbase!
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing the hub of communications and all things supportive. There seemed to be an air of calm, confidence, lots of hard work and a dose of hilarity, too. Raleigh is not afraid to tackle the more tricky challenges ...from diarrhoea (sp?)to delivering a baby! Help ma boab, venturers certainly get life experiences!!
Kev - your presentation was brill; Scarecrow, Morecambe and Wise, David Frost/Prince Harry and the ol' BW hiding technique. Something for all, Kev! :-))
Really enjoyed meeting the team, thanks.
