ReplyDeleteHi Kiki,
Had a great day yesteray at Emilie's farewell bash before flying out to Bangkok. BBQ went really well and the weather was perfect. Dad went out and bought yet another wooden table so we were able to seat everyone on the decking in one go. A Sandy & U Stephen took Emilie to the airport about 6 and the others left just after (A Tanya ended up coming as a surprise and Thea got up at 6 in the morning to catch a train down from Manchester - BIG surprise for Em and there were lots of tears!). No news from her yet & A Sandy is worrying because there are riots in Bangkok at the mo & the Foreign Office have advised tourists not to go. Her plan was to stay in Thailand 2 months but those plans may change. She has set up a website so you'll be able to log on and check up on her once she's underway. Weekend made even better because I logged on and saw a video of the changeover fete and caught a glimpse of you several times in the tug-of-war and conga. Great! Will email more news so look out for it next time to get access to the internet. Love Mxxx
Hi David (Smith) Charlie 3
ReplyDeleteJust watched the Changeover Video - great fun. Good shot when you were throwing your sponge. Poor Mark, but at least he must have stayed cool! I now know it was a pot of hot-dog sausages you are looking at in one of the photos from the fete :-)
Hope the project is going well, and you are enjoying every moment of your last weeks in India. Much love Ma x x x x

Hi Lauren Pegg (tango 6),
ReplyDeleteI heard your laugh!!!! It was so lovely to hear you gaffawing again! It was definitely you laughing at the wet sponge being thrown at a chap and thank you for wearing that stripey dress as it makes it so much easier to search you out in the photos and the video. I hope the trek isn't as bad as you thought it may be and that you are enjoying it and doing well. As Auntie JJ said, at least your boots would have been worn in.
Get in more photos Lolly, as we all want to see lots more of you.
Kisses and hugs from this end to you, Mother Ducks xxxxxxx

ReplyDeleteHi Sweetheart,
The video is great and you all look as if you had great fun, i have to say i did hear you shouting before i saw you in the tug of war ha ha but well done.
Weather has changed today and has been rainy in parts and a little overcast. Uncle Martin and Helen finally got back to Blighty late on Friday evening(1 week Late) not that uncle Mart was to unhappy about that, Helen was hoping they may have to drive instead of taking the flight just so she could call and get some Champagne on the way home, i think my bad habits are rubbing off on her.
Anyway look forward to seeing more videos.
Take Care of yourself and looking forward to seeing you soon.
Love you always.

ReplyDeleteHa Apie,

ReplyDeleteSaw the video. Looked like fun.
We are off to Dubrovnik 5-9 May. May need to help you with travel before that. We would like to know your plans - don't know if you have picked it up but political situation in Bangkok not good. Red Shirts have been rioting and people have been killed. Airport probably OK but would keep out of city. Even airport was target of riots last year and many were stranded for days.

ReplyDeleteLieve Laartje !
Kus mam

ReplyDeleteA huge thank you to Anna at FB for all her help and please could this message be passed as soon as possible.
Hi Hattie,
We have managed to change your flight. You are now booked on flight BA118 out of Bangalore on 12 May 2010 departing 07.30 arriving Heathrow T5 13.40. See your gmail for confirmation. I know this is later than hoped but no earlier seats available due I think to it being so close to date and remaining backlogged passengers due to the volcanic ash cloud. I do hope you can sort yourself out for those three days.
All well here, Benjie's just finished nights and Charlie's fine.
All love darling, Dad and Mummy

Hi Amy B Echo 4,
ReplyDeleteSorry to miss your call over the weekend, we were in remotest lincolnhire but it did us the world of good. The most traffic noise came from the birds and you would have loved the cottage.
I have emailed Glastonbury as not received tickets yet and have emailed accommodation office for uni as still have not heard from them as they said we would.
Still not heard from you re whether you received your clothes you asked for so have not dared send anything else so I hope you can buy something there.
Let me know what you want to do re work experience as I can write to John. I imagine it may be better for them before the school hols start but they do need to have advance notice as they will plan a programme so that you see a variety.
We are very proud of what you are achieving out there Amy and hope you enjoy your ongoing travels out there.
Dogs fine - I was worried about H whilst away as he was unrousable one night - it turned out he was hust exhausted after a long walk. No hip stiffness. Off to be stipped this morning so they should still look quite good when you get back.
Try not to forget dads & J's birthdays.
Looking forward to seeing you.
Love you heaps,
