Yesterday we said hello to the PMs for the 5 week 10H expedition. They arrived in the baking heat, are settling in well and are ripe for induction. We'll catch up with them soon...
This morning was also a momentous occasion for the venturers, as we proudly waved them off on their first phase for the next 19 days. The previous evening - to set the tone - Anna gave an inspirational speech and it was stirring stuff. We were then entertained by a slideshow depicting the venturers' journey so far, prompting a fair bit of banter.

ReplyDeleteI managed to get burnt the other day in Dorset, and Tom gave me some after sun cream that turned out had fake tan cream in it. Only realised this after I'd put it on for the 100th time and now looking pretty orange, a great look :)
Can't wait till you get back, seeing Azita and Nazy next week which will be nice - I'll say hello to Kian for you and make sure we have an Indian takeaway waiting for you when you get back:) Have a great time, love you lots xxxx
