Dad, I also wanted to tell you that I've had lots of chai and each time I think of you. Mum, I've seen lots of salwar kameez's and i'll be getting one soon. Deep, I've become a lean, mean digging machine so watch out when I get back. Hope studying is going well. Also, just in case I don't write again = HAPPY DIWALI and New Year. Lots of love xx Kavita xx

Hi to all reading this, I hope you are well! We've been digging a 7 foot trench during the day, living off of rations and sleeping in a Basha (a hilarious tarpaulin/bambopo affair) at night. All is great, feel a long way away from you all and think porridge everyday is losing its novelty ... Please say hi to those who can't read this and I'll be sending letter soon - expect a muddy envelope sometime soon! Love, Gan xxx

Hey guys, all goes well, digging trenches with tamping poles is like putting in gate posts daily ... this being said I have gained a new appreciation for the komatsu - great to hear about cattle and that grampas doing well. Give everyone my regards - David

Grandma still in hospital; sends lots of love. And love from all of us. We'll think of you enjoying the showers at field base. (let us know that you got the sta stuff in the post.) Mum and dad
ReplyDeleteHi Kirsten-Echo Three
ReplyDeleteJust looking at your photos, they look great. Was that you in the water!!! Think Nanas told you I've got a 6foot trench around my house at the moment, so I can understand a bit of what you're doing (except a digger done mine!) What would your Grandad say " Its all character building"
Take care
Much love, Bev, Phil & Lads xxx

ReplyDeleteHiya :)
it looks like your having a good time in the photos and your ankle must be holding up. Glasgow is wet and windy, no change there, so quite a contrast to your climate!
work seems very quiet without you chatting, saying stupid things and going red :P
well done on conditioning yourself to peanut butter
take care

Hi Jess. I have emailed the number to you so you need to go back to that internet cafe! Thought you might not want the world to see it in a blog. Glad you're having a good time. Will mail stuff. Lovely autumn cycling weather here which is good because there is tube strike today. Even Dad is on his bike today! No gossip from here - I think you are having a much more exciting time! But book group tonight so maybe I will pick up some Tuffers news there. Hope you are taking lots of photos. Lots of love and still missing you. Looking for new blogs daily!
