The adventure begins

All the groups and field base staff have now arrived in Kerala. Tonight we are all staying together in Lower Camp (which is actually really high altitude!). It’s been great for everyone to get together and swap stories from their project phase. We are ending the evening tonight with a slide show of the project phase so that all the venturers and project managers can see what everyone has been up to and how much each of the groups has achieved.

Here are some photos of Lower Camp…

Tomorrow the activities will commence with groups going out to kayak, raft, trek and cycle 72km! Each group will complete all these activities over the next week whilst completing some mini challenges along the way to collect points. At the end a winner will be victorious…let the challenge commence!

  1. Hi Rose
So lovely to see you and Emily - both looking well if a bit wet!! The next week sounds fantastic so really enjoy yourselves and have a laugh. It must have been great finishing the project - no doubt you had a good final night. Hope you have some memory left for some pictures over the next 10 days. We are all very proud of you and cant wait to see and hear all your tales! Adam, Hannah, Joe, Sam and Sam all ask how you are doing - in fact Sam is out for a drink with Dan at the moment. Take care, have fun and see you soon. All our love Ma and Pa xxxx

  2. Hi Meriel, I simply can't believe you've achieved so much in such a relatively short period. Talk about action packed! are you exhausted? or are the monkey bars no longer going to pose a problem? Longing to hear more detail.
Just had a picnic with Sally G by the Dart- thank goodness its lovely weather at last. Ben home tomorrow. Dad had a good game of golf, so he's a happy bunny. Loads of love..mum dad and Ben when he gets here! xxx oh and Sally and M have found a house - very excited, quite local.

So glad you are all having an amazing time, it has gone by so fast.

Hope you have been enjoying the food, we can always celebrate with a curry on your return.

Hope the walking boots and other equipment have been serving you well and that you have kept up with your diaries. Can't wait to see all of your pictures and videos.
