Project Planning Visits

As the Project Managers have all deployed to their project sites along with some of the Field Base team to plan the projects in detail for this expedition - they are reporting into the Operations team twice per day to update on the groups progress and safety just as all the venturers will during each phase of the expedition.

Here's an update on what they have been up to so far in the format of a Sitrep (Situation Report):

Serial Alpha: (date & time) 04.10.08 13:15

Serial Bravo: (location) Alpha 1: Kebedura; Alpha 2: Bandipur National Park; Alpha 3: Kerala

Serial Charlie: (weather conditions) warm everywhere :)

Serial Delta: (progress) A1: have met project partners MYKAPS in Handpost & visited village of Kebedura; A2: Met RFO (Range Forest Officer) & visited work-site; A3: have reached Kerala and saw wild elephants

Serial Echo: (future plans) A1: Staying in Kebedura in school overnight, hospital recce; A2: Visiting work-sites and meeting with rangers to plan projects; A3: Meeting Kalypso guide Daz to visit work sites and then meeting with Kalypso's Commander Thomas & Sam to discuss route and finalise adventure phase.

Serial Golf: (risk assessment updates) fully completed upon return to Field Base
