  1. Hi Jamie, Nice to see you in another photo, and smiling! I take it all those bricks means that you have to do more than dig the foundations? Impressive! Love you and miss you, and I even sent you a letter yesterday so hope it gets there. Love Christina

  6. Hi Emma,
Looks like you are performing a group song - the poses are reminiscent of Sunday night dancing - Sunday nights are not quite the same here. Relying on you to teach the others in your group the Jameson moves. Looks like the trusty workman gloves will come in handy. Ann and Al asking after you - they have been looking at the blog. Much love and hugs. We are all so impressed with you. Have fun.
Love Momma J and PJ (who is watching the 'Boro lose - for a change? and ironing)xxxx

  9. Hi Emma,
Realised Mum was waaaaaaaaay ahead of me on the comment-front - this will never do!!
Good to see you in a photo!! What are you doing, though? Intriguing....
It was AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC to read your letter!! It's great that you're having such a good time!! I'm so impressed with you!! (I keep telling people you're in India and what you're doing:)This experience will have earnt you a place in the 'cool and interesting club' for life, I feel:))
Not a lot to report here....Just studying for Contract....hopefully it will all be fine....hopefully.
It was wonderful to see Lani on Sunday (we also bumped into her on Saturday). We're so excited for RnV and road trippin' with our hats, sunglasses and badges when you get back!! (I'm working on how I can get decent wine into the campsite....Pump bottles??) She's missing you lots....she looks on your blog everyday at work:)
I'll be sending you another letter soon - sorry I've been so crap (exams):( I was looking at cards in iko....they have some cool new ones so you'll be receiving one of those:)
better head back to assessing Anna's claims and remedies and potential liability (she bought a restaurant without looking at the turnover figures and just took the agent's word, silly woman).
    lots and lots of love,
    Sarah

  12. Hi Emma,
They haven't posted my two comments from last night!! Hopefully they'll go through.... If not, then it was absolutely amazing to read your letter!! I'm so happy that you're having such a fantastic time!! Very very impressed!! It's also good that the other people are nice:)It's also good to see you in a photo - what are you doing, though? (the dancing thing sounds scary, though....)
I'll be sending another letter soooon - I was disappointed by the range of cards in iko (I know. Crazy!!), so it will have to be kitsch writing paper again - Blue Bear, Babu or maybe even CHENNY THE ANGEL??
Oh and by the way, did you realise that you are missing your favourite month of the year here??!! Yes, MOvember is fast approaching!! Gibb asked me if he should grow a moustache last night....You can guess my response.
Better head back to the Contractual Mistakes Act 1977, I suppose.
Will write again soooooon!! (I hope they post those two comments from last night - must beat Mummy J!!)
    lots and lots of love,
    Sarah xx
(P.S. I'm now off facebook until November 17th!! It's been four days since my last facebook visit!! Impressed?? So am I!!

  17. Emma!!
Me again!! (though I've just realised how long my comments are so I'll attempt to make it snappy:)) Hope it's all still going amazingly!! Thinking of you lots!! (especially when 'This Must Be The Place' comes on my ipod:)) Everyone's really enjoying looking at the site:)
Not much to report here....realised I am actually going to fail Torts. It's really not looking too good. And it's Halloween so New World has sold out of Pam's Gummi Bears....the worms just aren't the same. Other than that, I have a tiny-weeny piece of gossip to put in your letter, so I'll get onto that now:) In other happy news, it's been nice and sunny recently, and I went for a swim at the tepid baths today:). OH and we can now watch TV at the flat!! Gibb's mother's husband gave us a cable!! It's strange....I'm scared it's going to intrude on all our bonding time!! (I also keep forgetting that I can now watch it hehe:))
Hope you're happy and enjoying everything, homie-cat:)
    lots and lots of love,
    Sarah

  18. Hi Em, PJ here. Great news Boro beat Man City and we didnt lose the game before that (against Blackburn) as Mum said in her last blog message. We did the usual thing in conceding a 94th minute goal. Tragedy!

Gig news! Leonard Cohen plays Auckland in January and now The Who are playing North Harbour Stadium in March. Amazing gigs keep being announced here, mainly while you are away hehe!

  19. Hi Emmie,
How's it going? I have a new laptop. Yipppeeeee! PJ and I are becoming old and going to bed at sunset - how sad is that?
Elections next week - go the Greens I say!
Love Momma J xx. PJ is writing you a letter this weekend. How exciting is that?
(full of information about coathangers no doubt...!!??)
    Have fun. Arrivederci.

  20. Hi Emma
It seems like you’re having a fun time in India. Keep up the good work!
Uni is enjoyable though busy. Last week we had to anaesthetise a fish - my friends and I were devastated when we thought that we had actually killed our first fish patient. After floating upside down at the top of the recovery tank for a long time, it amazingly came back to life and began to swim happily (albeit groggily) again!
I have sent you a few letters, so hopefully you will receive them soon.

Good to see you enjoying yourself. We miss you especially since Anuja is here. She is having a good time with her friends. Some of them are taking part in a play and they invited her to join. She jumped at the chance. They'll be staging it tomorrow. Nothing much happening at home. Pa had been to Madurai for a friend's son's wedding. My school's sports day is on the 15th. Pity you won't be here to help. I'm planning to ask Anuja to take your place.
    Much love.....Take care
    Ma
