Alpha Two informed Fieldbase yesterday that they had just finished building a massive 8-post trench, (the length across the top of the trench) which they claimed to be the largest made by all alpha groups yet. Despite suggestions that another group had already made the same size trench in a previous phase, our PROs at alpha two for this phase are adamant that their trench was bigger, and just better.
When asked to comment, Suzanne Leamy, previously Project Manager at alpha two for phase one and two confirmed that an 8-post trench had already been constructed by alpha two in phase two and denies any suggestions that this trench could possibly be larger, never mind better.

ReplyDeleteHi my darling, my last day in the country and then all back to normal - very sad. The weather has been OK. Putting the pool on in a few weeks so thats exciting.
We are dropping the boys off to grandpa who is having them for the night and them taking them tomorrow to a cricket coaching day!
Ferdi has really grown - he is nearly as tall as me! He now takes a size 8 shoe! Ludi is just as sweet as ever.
Cessca texted me yesterday and wanted to know if you needed anything - I am meeting her on Wednesday so let me know by then so I can give her the stuff - not tooo much though.
I can't believe that its nearly all over - its just flown by. Now you have to be very careful and always travel with a group of friends and never be left alone with someone you've just met - sorry darling but there are so many awful things happening in the world at the moment = I just want you to be safe and have an amazing time.
Alfie has got so big - he is so sweet and really plays with the boys. He loves me the best though!
Longing to hear from you - I've paid this months phone bill which was £165! Its so high as when people call you you still pay for it and also the texting! such a joke. Work out a way were it is cheaper - maybe buy an indian sim card or phone and then I can call you on that.
Try and call asap so I can get the stuff together for Cessca. Can't wait to hear all your news my darling. We all love and miss you so much. Big kisses love mummyxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Josephine
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a wonderful time on your last few days of the trench building project. Sounds like you may need the 'Guiness Book of Records' to come in and settle the controversy over who has built the biggest trench!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you still have time to build a 9 pole trench to settle the argument for sure!!!!!!!
Spoke to Jo yesterday they are all very excited and looking forward to you going to stay with them. Jo has various plans including a few days up at Tea Gardens and a surf beach. So you can soak your trench digging muscles!!
Martha got news last night that she will be going to Sangam as a young leader. There are 16 of them altogether 3 young leaders and 3 adult leaders. She is very excited as you can imagine.
Tibet is closed again until the torch has gone past Everest in May. Oh dear, we will need to make a decision soon about a possible change of itinerary.
So looking forward to being able to talk to you!(So is Dad Jib)
Love and miss you sooooooooooo much.Mum and all XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Hello Charles -
ReplyDeleteWow! Time is flying by. Sounds like phase 3 has been a fun experience - did I read that there've been salsa classes? Not at all surprised, excellent elephant deterrant. Hard to believe that April 19 is just a week away - I guess phase 3 is just about to come to an end giving you just a few days back at base camp to round everything up.
Very excited to be back in contact with you once you're on the road - assume we'll be in phone contact plus there must be internet carfe's etc. NB I called JL Mcard and they're all set.
We moved office over the weekend - email is down as some piece of kit failed - workstation, laptops and BB are all earily silent. Not sure if it's good news or bad news, but quite like the peace. The new office is perfect for going to France and looks super smart, or at least will do when the furniture has arrived!
Tomorrow is golf day, building up for the pro-am on May 1. Then on to Amsterdam doing final interviews with Walter - needs to go well. Next week is Boston, staying at the hotel which marks the end of the marathon right opposite from our HQ at Exeter - not sure how the cab will make it through the crowds.
We are missing you, missing you, and missing you. Enjoy this time away - it's your last!
Love you xxxxxx
i love you chazza and am missing you lots xxxxxxxx

ReplyDeleteHello my darling I hope you are back at the project but taking it easy! Get lots of rest and enjoy the company.
We had a lovely week end. St Pauls was wonderful and the singing was beautiful. They sang happy birthday to Lucy during the rehearsal with all the visitors looking on. we had a lovely meal and a really good day, but grandma could hardly walk when we got home.
We had people for drinks on Sunday and Nick's mother came as she was up in Liverpool at a wedding. it all went well and Lucy enjoyed herself. We will do it all again when you get home. I can hardly wait to see you but I know you will be sad your trip is coming to an end, but only a new beginning really. My 6 word story of the weekend was 'only 16 but have daughter 21' its a hard life to be a mum.
Missing you loads and loads sending you all my love kisses and hugs, can't wait to hold you Mummyxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
