New to Field Base recently are two goats - now named Stew & Curry. Medic Zoe and PRO Suze have been very taken with the goats and very excited about their arrival.
Although rumour has it that Administrator Pat has been feeding them nuts and buiscuits!!!

Maar het heeft de goede sint zeer gespeten,
Dat hij vandaag weer naar Spanje terug moest keren,
Zonder dat hij jou met een surprise heeft kunnen fêteren.
Jij zit nu in India - en dat is hier heel, heel ver vandaan -
Waarnaar zijn pietermannen helaas niet toe konden gaan.
Sint had je heel graag met een leuk cadeau verrast
Want je bent namelijk een fijne en ook een goede gast!
En zeker nu je je dit jaar een harde werker hebt getoond
Had sint dit graag met een of ander geschenkje beloond.
Daarom heeft sint zijn goede collega de kerstman gebeld
En hem uitgebreid over al jouw grote kwaliteiten verteld.
De kerstman hoefde daarna echt niet meer lang na te denken,
Om te besluiten dat hij jou met Kerstmis iets leuks zal schenken.
Lieve Arend, dat presentje houd je dus nog even tegoed,
En voor nu zeggen sint en piet welgemeend: gegroet!

ReplyDeleteThe goats look cute - hope they will not end up as curry or stew :( The Christmas tree boys have a paddling pool this year..still waving to everyone. Dad and I went ocean swimming again today - much warmer. Your curtains (cue for Monty Python)are up and look fantastic. Dad and I are off to see Kylie tomorrow ...yippee!! We went to see Qantum of Solace last night (the new Bond film) - great - I think it will still be around when you get back. Have fun during thse last two weeks. Last week of school for me - First Aid tomorrow and Tuesday - will be interesting. Sarah is taking us all to Takapuna beach cafe when you get back - miam..miam. Lots of love Momma J and PJ xxxx
